- authenticating users by email code and, where enabled, authenticator verification
- managing user accounts, preferences, alerts, and saved workspace state
- sending required sign-in and security messages
- sending optional product or marketing emails only where consent has been given
4. Service providers and recipients
Hosting: Hostinger, with server operation in Frankfurt, Germany
Email delivery: Resend for authentication emails and optional product emails
Optional connected services: integrations such as Telegram, X, and Threads are only used if features connected to those services are actively used by the user or by the account holder.
5. Legal bases
Processing is carried out in particular to provide the service, secure the platform, fulfill account-related requests, protect legitimate interests in reliable and secure operation, and, where applicable, based on user consent for optional marketing communication.
6. Marketing consent
Product and marketing emails are sent only if the corresponding consent has been enabled in the user profile. This consent can be withdrawn at any time for future messages.
7. Retention periods
- email sign-in codes and comparable authentication challenge data are retained only for a short security window
- trusted-device and sign-in security data are retained while required to secure active account access
- account data, preferences, alerts, and uploaded avatars are retained while the account remains active
- marketing consent status is retained as long as needed to document consent status and related compliance obligations
- server and security logs are retained only for a limited period as required for secure system operation
8. Data subject rights
Subject to applicable law, users have rights of access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and objection.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
Users may lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
